Buyer Origination Consultant, Commodities (China)

Catapult Commodities is looking for a China based Buyer Origination Consultant to help us grow our network of qualified commodity buyers. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys relationship building, understands procurement and trade flows, and can turn real demand into well structured
opportunities.
What you will do:
• Build and manage a strong pipeline of buyers across China, including end users, importers, and trading houses.
• Hold professional discovery conversations to understand demand, volumes, specifications, destinations, and timelines.
• Work closely with our team to move qualified opportunities through our process from initial interest to first lift.
• Maintain clear records of outreach, buyer requirements, and next steps.
What we are looking for:
• Strong access to procurement decision makers and buyer networks.
• Experience in commodities, import export, supply chain, or trading environments.
• Clear communication, sound judgment, and consistent follow through.
• Comfortable working in a structured process with confidentiality and professionalism.

• 大宗商品、进出口、供应链或贸易相关经验。
• 沟通清晰,判断力强,执行与跟进稳定可靠。
• 认同并适应结构化流程,具备良好的保密意识与职业操守。
